TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE

1. General

These general terms of use for online services apply to all online services of KJR Equitation Oy ("KJR" or "Company"), and the use of the contents and materials available through the online services, unless otherwise agreed or notified. In these terms of use, online services refer to all web or mobile services maintained or produced by KJR. These include, for example, KJR's website www.kirjorinne.com, online store and mobile applications. Hereinafter all services are referred to as the "Service".

In addition to these general terms of use for online services the separate Order and Delivery terms may be applied to the use of the Service.

By registering to use the Service and/or using the Service, the user accepts and commits to comply with these terms of use, Order and Delivery Terms and other guidelines. Use of the Service is subject to acceptance of all terms or guidelines. If the user does not agree to be bound by these terms or cannot comply with them, the user should cease using the Service.

2. User's rights and responsibilities

KJR grants the user a limited right to use the Service and its contents. Limited right refers to the rights defined in these terms of use, other terms and conditions and guidelines.

The use of Service is only permitted for personal, non-commercial use, unless otherwise specified in the terms and conditions. If the user does not comply with all applicable terms, laws and accepted principles of morality, KJR has the right to deny the use of the Service.

The user can browse the Service and its contents, such as text, images, trademarks and symbols, print or save a copy of the Service contents on their personal computers and mobile data terminals and use the services provided in the Service by KJR . The user is not allowed to modify or copy the contents of the Service in any way or to distribute, transfer, publicly display or publish as such or any part or parts thereof, unless permitted by these terms of use, the Service itself or the related other terms. Permissions granted in the Service can include, for example, social media buttons that enable sharing of the content in social media. The users must retain all copyright and other proprietary notices contained in the downloaded or printed copies of the contents.

User does not have the right to use the Service contrary to applicable laws and accepted principles of morality.

The user is entitled to use newsletters published in the Kirjorinne.com web service for journalistic purposes solely on condition that the source of information is mentioned in the context of use.

3. Conversations, blogs and comments

Conversation forums, blogs and commentary possibilities are for constructional and pertinent exchange of ideas. All users must comply with the rules concerning the Service.

KJR shall not verify in advance any information which comes up in conversations, blogs or comments. If necessary, KJR shall remove such information that violates these Terms and Conditions of Use, Order and Delivery Terms, law or good practice, when the infringement comes to KJR's knowledge. KJR is not liable for users' or bloggers' writings or any consequences resulting from the writings, neither for data prepared or added to the service by the users. The contents of the conversations, comments and blogs are at user's own risk. The user is liable for his or her own actions, and the user may incur legal responsibility for his or her writings should the writings violate the law.

The users are obliged to inform their e-mail addresses in connection with their writings. The address will not be used for marketing purposes. KJR has the right to contact the users and bloggers in matters concerning their writings.

4. Processing of personal data

KJR processes the personal data of Service users as described in KJR 's privacy statement.

5. Cookies

The service uses cookies. KJR collects data on the use of the online services with the help of cookies.

A cookie is a small file that a website stores in the visitor's browser, which sends data to the website's administrator when the visitor revisits the website. KJR uses cookies that work as intended on their website - they improve the user experience or monitor traffic on the KJR's website. KJR may also use cookies to target, personalise and advertise our webpages.

KJR will ask for the website user's consent for other cookies than cookies that are strictly necessary for the use of the website.

The Service and its content are provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind. KJR aims to provide the Service without disruptions or malfunctions. KJR does not make any guarantees that the information provided in the Service is fit for a general or specific purpose. KJR also does not make any guarantees that the Service does not infringe the rights of third parties. In case of an infringement, the user or the infringed party shall contact the service provider as soon as possible.

KJR does not guarantee that the Service or the contained information is correct, up-to-date or reliable. The Service or its contents may contain inaccuracies, omissions, errors or other defects, such as viruses. KJR is not responsible for information submitted or received by users or information that the user does not submit or receive. KJR intends to maintain the data security of the Service and the transmitted information but it is not responsible for data security as it cannot be ensured.

KJR is not responsible for direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages or damages based on liability. These can include, for example, damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Service of its contents or damages for loss of business, contract, data or revenue or disruption of business. 12. Applicable law and disputes

These contract terms are governed by Finnish law, excluding its choice of law rules.

Any conflicts will be primarily resolved through negotiation. If resolution by negotiation is unsuccessful, any conflicts shall be resolved by the District Court of Kokkola, Finland.

If the user is a consumer, they may report the dispute to a consumer dispute body in the country of residence, in accordance with local regulations and practices. In case the dispute is related to online sales of goods or services, the European Commission provides an Online Dispute Resolution Platform that is aimed primarily for consumers who live in another EU country than the domicile of the service provider. Consumers also have the right to bring a case before the district court which has jurisdiction over their place of residence.
